Well, so far i've subscribed for quite a few mods and only one downloaded successfully, and that one that downloaded was cheap. So i In case anyone comes across this thread. After an hour of searching I finally came across several different threads that all mentioned the mods download through Steam's Download queue. Since I work from home from time to time, I had scheduled Steam to download while I sleep. When I turned the download schedule off, all my subscribed mods i relanched running as admin. i subscribed to a mod waited a litttle bit lanched ark. Once on ark on the main menu in the coner it said it was installing one mod. i then when into host/local. where it said waiting for steam client to start mod download. i was unable to refresh mods during this time. :( and it has stayed like this for a while This should prompt steam to download/redownload any mods you are subscribed to. This usually works for me, especially when I know an updated mod is available, since those little "mod update" tages haven't been showing up for me in over a month. Just thought I would share some advice for an annoying bug with Skyrim and the Steam Workshop not working as intended, as I think it's a common problem but I can not for the life of me find people talking about it. I had subscribed to a good 40+ mods in the workshop but whenever I would start the game the mods would never install. I went online

Trying to remove mod and cache files a mentioned in this thread did not help either.
Does this really have to be the case? I run a dedicated server that a bunch of mates play on, not open to the public (Yet!) I would like to use the workshop mods, however I don't want to have to pay for the full game just to use the dedicated server files with the workshop content so it stays up to date?
